If you aspire to peace and tranquility the Moulin de Parcoul is for you. Situated on its own island it offers complete privacy in the heart of the wine and food paradise of France -the Dordogne. Surrounded by the beautiful and soothing waters of the Dronne river it offers a haven from the intensity of city life. Yet after a short drive you are in the heart of the world's most prestigious wine region with its beautiful Chateaux, stunning wines and food to sample as well as its historic towns to explore The elegant and exciting World Heritage city of Bordeaux is a mere one hour drive away.

Market Tour

The French love their food markets and it's not hard not to understand why. Just take a stroll through one, the bigger the town the bigger the market . Even the smallest markets have a real vibrancy . Exploring the sights and smells can become a remarkable experience

Cultural Sites

There is a great many of cultural sites in the Dordogne Valley and neighbourhood, most of them are an easy day trip from the Moulin

Wineries Tour

The Moulin is situated in the heartland of the most prestigious wine makers in the world. The charming St. Emilion, Pomerol, Margaux and many other world famous wine districts are less than 50km away , making it easy for a day trip for wine tasting, great food and enchanting scenery. We are happy to help you organise an incredible and unique experience

Pool

Guests can enjoy our large salt water swimming pool. Its idilic setting alongside the Dronne river makes it a remarkably serene and peaceful place.

Garden

Our gardens are secluded. The house sits on its own island, so wherever you are in the garden you can see and hear the river.

Leisure Activities

Just across the Moulin's private bridge you can rent out canoes and kayaks to explore the Dronne river. We have a pétanque court, bikes and a striking multi -games room . For peace and quiet we have a yoga studio. For the most adventurous minded, the region offers a vast amount of activities such as: hot air ballon; free fall parachuting; paragliding; cave exploring , to mention some.
